PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
Wall Removal and New Pony Wall
To create a more open-concept feel, we demolished the full-height wall dividing the kitchen and dining space and replaced it with a pony wall. This structural change allowed more natural light to flood the kitchen and improved the flow between rooms. It also gave the homeowners a larger workspace and visual connection to the rest of the home.
Coffee Bar Area with Open Shelving
One standout feature is the updated coffee corner. We removed the upper cabinets to avoid a boxed-in look and instead installed wood floating shelves. This gave the area an airy, modern feel and provided space for mugs, glassware, and décor. It’s now a stylish and functional beverage station that reflects the homeowners’ everyday lifestyle.
Quartz Countertops with Full Backsplash
The new countertops are a beautiful white quartz with subtle veining, offering both elegance and durability. We extended the quartz all the way up the walls for a full-height backsplash — creating a sleek, grout-free surface that is easy to maintain and visually seamless.
Warm Shaker Cabinetry
The remodel features a blend of soft white and warm natural wood shaker cabinets, offering contrast and balance throughout the space. New brushed nickel hardware adds a modern touch to the traditional cabinetry design.
New Lighting and Flooring
We installed modern pendant lights above the peninsula and updated the overhead fixtures to create a well-lit workspace. The floors were redone in warm-toned LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank), which ties in with the wood cabinets and offers long-lasting durability.

From layout changes and custom cabinetry to quartz surfaces and new lighting, this Renton kitchen remodel now feels open, bright, and welcoming. With a dedicated coffee area, seamless countertops, and beautiful finishes throughout, the space reflects the homeowners’ style while enhancing day-to-day functionality.
